The Mission of Saco Spirit is to make Saco a better place to live and work by enhancing the vitality of our downtown. Saco Spirit is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, and was designated as a Main Street Maine Community by the Maine Downtown Center. The National Main Street Center is a program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.Under the direction of a volunteer Board of Directors, Saco Spirit utilizes an innovative 4-point approach to revitalization. The approach focuses on promotions and marketing, design and preservation, economic development, and volunteer organization to revitalize and improve our already beautiful city. Saco Spirit’s events, downtown decorations, and revitalization efforts are made possible in part through your generous support.
