Interested in Hanging a Banner across Main Street in Saco. Here's How!
Terms and Conditions:
1. Banner applications will only be accepted for events held in Saco.
2. Banner application will be approved on a first-come/ first-served basis or committee consensus for multiple requests for the same banner period.
3. New applicants must supply a sketch of banner’s layout/wording/graphics.
4. Banner must be delivered to Saco Spirit at least 10 calendar days before its installation.
5. Banner must be made of quality materials and aesthetically compatible with the downtown business area.
6. Should banner for any reason be deemed by Saco DPW a potential safety hazard and/or does not meet the terms and conditions state above, it is the responsibility of the applicant to remedy the insufficiencies no later than 3 days prior to scheduled raising so that DPW may determine the adequacy of remedies. DPW may apply such conditions as it deems in the publics’ interest.
7. It is the responsibility of the applicant to retrieve the banner from Saco Spirit within 10 calendar days of its being lowered and after notification by Saco Spirit. Storage of banner is the responsibility of the applicant not Saco Spirit nor DPW. Saco Spirit is not responsible for fate of banner after 10th calendar day after notification.
